Shock Absorber Leakage Impact on Aircraft Lateral Stability During Ground Handling Maneuvers

چکیده
Aircraft braking maneuvers are safety-critical on-ground motions that exhibit complex dynamics and significant dependence on system operating conditions. The fundamental interface between the aircraft ground is landing gear. Among gear components, shock absorbers may be subject to gas leakage during their lifetime, which an anomaly could compromise lateral stability properties of regimes found maneuvers. In this paper, explicit link established main absorber stability. To investigate stability, a high-fidelity multibody nonlinear simulator developed in MATLAB/Simulink framework validated against experimental data. generate insight into problem quantify impact two simple but descriptive analytical models also developed, each one different mode system. analysis reveals can have effect especially at high velocities highly damped nose wheel steering work used by control designers come up with more effective controllers event leakage.

متن کاملBifurcation Analysis of Nonlinear Ground Handling of Aircraft
Nonlinearities inherent in the landing gear geometry, the complex interactions at the tyreground interface and the aerodynamics play an important role in the behaviour of aircraft on the ground. The use of computer models that incorporate nonlinear effects is becoming more widespread in industry. Numerical continuation and bifurcation analysis have successfully been applied in the study of road...

conclusions this study suggests that obese patients in hs may have a higher risk of hemodynamic instability compared to their nonobese counterparts primarily due to obesity-induced increases in intra-abdominal pressure resulting in reduced venous return. results in hemorrhage simulation, moderate increases in bmi were found to produce greater decreases in map and co compared to the normal subje...
متن کاملAcoustic Shock Formation in Noise Propagation During Ground Run-Up Operations of Military Aircraft
A distinctive feature of many propagating, high-amplitude jet noise waveforms is the presence of acoustic shocks. Metrics indicative of shock presence, specifically the skewness of the time derivative of the waveform, the average steepening factor, and a new wavelet-based metric called the shock energy fraction (SEF), are used to quantify the strength and prevalence of acoustic shocks within wa...
متن کاملOptimized Fuzzy Logic for Nonlinear Vibration Control of Aircraft Semi-active Shock Absorber with Input Constraint (TECHNICAL NOTE)
Landing impact and runway unevenness have proximate consequence on performance of landing gear system and conduce to discomfort of passengers and reduction of the pilot’s capability to control aircraft. Finally, vibrations caused by them result in structure fatigue. Fuzzy logic controller is used frequently in different applications because of simplicity in design and implementation. In the pre...
